Loving Life on Maui


Aloha Everyone......

Do you ever just wake up and realize how very fortunate you are for all of your blessings?

Sometimes...the way the world has been going...it gets tough at times to see the good things...but I try sooo hard to always look for the positive in everything. There is something to be learned in every situation as life is so full of lessons and learning. If you don't learn....then the lesson keeps replaying itself until you do learn.

I know it gets difficult...I'm super sensitive and have my heart wide open to others so I'm what you'd call an easy target to an angry person. However, instead of anger towards them...I wonder what awful things must have happened to them to make them so angry and bitter...especially towards loving and happy people. I always pray for them to find divine guidance and peace so they too can feel the joy of love, peace and serenity.

We all have a duty to helping others in showing them love and kindness....true caring and compassion. We don't know what made that person so angry or mean....maybe they were never shown love...or maybe someone dear to them was taken away unexpectedly. Whatever the reason....we are all born with love in our hearts and it is up to us to continue this cycle of reaching out to those less fortunate and letting them know that you care...and they matter!

I saw this picture of an incredibly gorgeous Maui sunset today and felt the need to share it. This beautiful masterpiece made me smile....I hope it has the same affect on you. :)  Please...pass it on and share the love.

What is the Difference Between a Short Sale and an REO or Bank Owned Property ?



 Maui and all over the mainland has seen a lot of foreclosures and even with this harsh environment the lower prices of these homes has attracted new buyers and seasoned investors alike to the Maui Real Estate Market..

Will they increase this year ? 
Are there any assessment projections for the condominium complex?
How many delinquencies of the maintenance dues are there within the complex ?

Foreclosure” is the process by which lender(s)/lien holder(s) take possession of a property as a result of the current owner’s failure to make mortgage payments over a certain period of time. Specific procedures render termination of mortgagor’s equitable right of redemption. This process could take years if contested, and not all states share the same laws and procedures regarding foreclosures.

Short Sale” is the sale of real estate property for less than the current mortgage owed to the lender/lien holder, hence the term, selling it short. Short sales often occur when a hardship arises and the borrower cannot pay their mortgage loan. This process is NOT for the fainthearted nor lackadaisical, as the road is paved with a myriad of paper work, research, and negotiations. However, this is by far a more humane road for sellers to travel, and usually yields a quicker recovery on their credit report.
